USDA released their supply and demand numbers last week. According to Dr. Gary Adams, Vice President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council some revisions were made to the ‘05-‘06 cotton marketing year.
Adams says for the current crop year USDA raised their previous production estimate 300,000 bales.
According to Adams the world production number was raised roughly 1.2 million bales from the September estimate.
