The National Cotton Council has serious reservations regarding the Peterson-Goodlatte farm bill package announced by House Agricultural Committee Chairman Collin Peterson. Dr. Gary Adams, Vice-President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the Council says it appears extra money is being taken from cotton’s baseline and nothing is being provided in return.
