In its August crop report, USDA estimated a 2008- 2009 U.S. crop of 13.8 million bales.

In its August crop report, USDA estimated a 2008- 2009 U.S. crop of 13.8 million bales.  Dr. Gary Adams, Vice-President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council says this number is in comparison to last year’s number of 19.2 million bales.
