In its October crop report, the USDA estimated a 2012-13 US cotton crop of 17.29 million bales.

In its October crop report, the USDA estimated a 2012-13 US cotton crop of 17.29 million bales.This is an increase of 180,000 bales from the September report. Gary Adams, Vice President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council provides the details of the report along with regional production updates.
