In its September crop report, USDA estimated a 2017 U.S. cotton crop of almost 21.8 million bales. The estimate came as somewhat of a surprise to the cotton industry. Dr. Gary Adams, President and CEO of the National Cotton Council, sits down with us to talk about how USDA reached this number.
