This week, the Department of Agriculture will begin issuing the second tranche of payments for the 2019 Market Facilitation Program (MFP). Producers of MFP-eligible commodities, like cotton, will be eligible to receive 25% of the total payment expected, in addition to the 50% they already have received. Reece Langley, Vice President of Washington Operations for the National Cotton Council, joins us to talk about the benefit this will bring cotton farmers affected by the ongoing trade dispute between the U.S. and China.
