Dr. Lisa Chambers, associate professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Central Florida, shares about a new research project being worked on to keep carbon from escaping soil.
She shares that their research, which is funded by a grant from USDA, is examining fine minerals such as silt and clay, which can prevent carbon from leaving soils and ultimately aid with helping to cool the atmosphere.
